Kay Hubbard, MSW, LCSW

Kay Hubbard, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in outpatient behavioral health and clinical program leadership. Kay earned her degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Her clinical approach is individualized and goal-oriented, tailoring treatment strategies to each patient’s personality, presentation, and therapeutic objectives. She is committed to utilizing scientifically supported, evidence-based interventions to help patients achieve meaningful and sustainable progress as efficiently as possible.

As a versatile clinician, Kay works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing depression, anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD),  trauma-related conditions, and relational conflict. Her therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Trauma-Focused CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Reconciliation Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

At Bluegrass TMS, Kay brings deep expertise in the assessment and treatment of mood and trauma-related disorders, as well as extensive experience collaborating within multidisciplinary treatment teams. Her strong diagnostic foundation, structured treatment planning, and familiarity with treatment-resistant presentations enhance the patient selection, preparation, and support processes associated with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Kay plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care that integrates psychotherapy with advanced interventional psychiatric services when clinically indicated.
